Happy Earth Day!

I love this beautiful earth. It is probably one of my most favorite things to photograph and has been since I was about ten years old and my dad introduced me to his old SLR he took on his mission. There is beauty, color, contrast, and the world is always full of surprises. I would wander around the neighborhood for hours on end just snapping shots of flowers, trees, clouds, and the beautiful mountains.

One of my most favorite things about the world I live in is spring time! I can't get enough; planting seeds, weeding, mowing the grass, watering. I love it all. There is so much renewal and life happening at this time and it is so invigorating. So today set aside a minute or two and give back to the earth. Plant some seeds or flowers. Turn the water off when you brush your teeth. Shorten you shower by five minutes. Pick up that empty soda can lying in the gutter. Use a tote when you hit the grocery store. Just do one thing, one tiny thing.
