A Little Road Rally

The other day K.B. and I attended a little local event meant just for kids and their bikes and scooters. It was so much fun, but it was also very, very hot. I was melting almost the entire time. Littleman, on the other hand, was soaking it all in and loving every rip, wheeling moment. Granted, he is too small to really participate just yet, he has a trike but can't reach the pedals, so a spectator he remained. We went and watch all the rallying while sitting in the shade. We also took full advantage of the Smile Booth. Gah! That thing was addicting. The food was great, the company was even better, and don't get me started on all the raffle prizes. We had a blast, as always when we gather with local mommies and their kids. Thanks so much to Small Fry, Freshly Picked, and Cara Loren for such a fun event. We really, really loved it!

     



     

     

A Gathering of Bloggers

Another bloggy meet up and I am seriously thinking I am pro by now. That is a total of three for me. I had a buddy this time, K.B. and let me tell you, he was the star of the show! I got to talk with a myriad of bloggers I admire all because they couldn't keep their eyes off of him. He was a gem through the whole thing. He kept his hat on through the whole thing all because he was thoroughly distracted by a black, plastic spoon I gave him to chew on. Fantastic! Because of him we also got our picture taken twice by the reigning photographers in attendance. We mixed, we mingled, and we ate some cookies. It was a wonderful event and a great way to get more people to stalk on instagram. The Mingle @ Soel really was such a great way to share the blogging love. I won a drawing and got a ton of loot! Also, Jef from Bachelorette was there, granted I had no idea who he was, but I knew he had some kind of celebrity swag the way the ladies were flocking to him. It was only after the meet up that I finally skimmed through several blog posts to figure out who he was. I know, lame-o! That embarrassment is almost as bad as eating the guacamole with my spoon. Yep, I went there and I spilled right on the most embarrassing part of my shirt. Nice green blob on my breest all through the blogger mingle. Booyah!

Another Blog Party

Over at Meet Virgina Design plans with a few other bloggers have been brewing for a blog swap and meet up. Two words, Pool Party! I am still on the fence since Superman will be home that weekend (a rarity), but you should certainly check it out if you are in Utah.

Found this just today on the Meet Virginia blog. I don't know if I am brave enough for such a thing, but thought I would get it out there and support Utah Bloggers none the less. Perhaps in the next two weeks I can actually work up the guts to show my real live face. Maybe. Perhaps. It could happen. Ok, moving on. Also found this flyer on For The Love. Something definitely on my to do list for this weekend, that is, if my car ever gets out of the shop. I thought February was bad car month, but I guess it is now leaking into April. The agony! Anyways, with warmer weather comes delightful outdoor shopping markets and yard work. Seriously, I love outside, whether it is work or play. Maybe I will see you there!
